If you have returned from mainland China in the last 14 days and develop flu like symptoms, however mild, please self-isolate at home and call NHS 111. All travellers from Wuhan and Hubei province should self-isolate for 14 days. Please do not visit your GP or hospital.
Andover Medical Centre will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
The iHUB Service will still be operating an 8am to 8pm service.
Opening times and venues for iHUB are as follows:
- Christmas Day (Wednesday, 25th December 2019): 8 am – 8 pm at the Whittington Hospital
- Boxing Day (Thursday, 26th December 2019): 8 am – 8 pm Islington Central Medical Centre
- New Year’s Day (Wednesday, 1st January 2020): 8 am – 8 pm Islington Central Medical Centre

Flu vaccinations are now available for all eligible patients at the surgery! Please contact the surgery to book your appointment with our Healthcare Assistant Tanya O’Brien soon – it is important that you protect yourself against the flu this winter! Our Flu clinics are currently running every other MONDAY 3-4 PM (starting from September 23rd), WEDNESDAY 10-12 AM and THURSDAY 3-5 PM. You can call the practice to pre-book the appointment or simply walk-in.

Our next Patient Participation Meeting (PPG) is going to be held on Wednesday 21st at 6pm. We have invited an external speaker from GP Federation to discuss Primary Care Networks (PCN) and we are also going to be providing useful information, practice updates and answering any questions our patients might have. Anyone registered at the practice is invited to come along to this meeting.
